If you haven't, please watch Kate's video on your MAGBucks settlement page - it will take you through the whole process start to finish and potentially pinpoint any issues you may be seeing. You can find your Settlement page link in your email with the subject line 'Your MAGBucks are ready!' If you still can't find it then please reach out to customer care at hello@MAGFAST.com.
There are two reasons your MAGBucks may not be working like you think they should.
1. You're trying to apply MAGBucks for over 50% of your order
2. You don't have enough MAGBucks to redeem
We'll go over both of these scenarios in this article.
1. You're trying to apply MAGBucks for over 50% of your order
The most common issue we're seeing folks have is the MAGBucks store credit discount code not applying as expected because of the 50% rule. Please remember: you can only use MAGBucks for up to 50% off your order. This is because if everyone used MAGBucks for 100% of their orders then our company would go out of business and everyone would lose. We're doing everything we can to avoid that.
Make sure to choose the MAGBucks discount amount that will take off 50% or less of your subtotal.
For example:
If your order subtotal (before taxes) is $100 then you would need to redeem a $50 MAGBucks store credit.
In my example below, you can see that my order subtotal is $324. When I try to apply my $250 MAGBucks code at checkout, I get an error.
The MAGBucks store credit amount I need to redeem for this cart is $160:
2. You don't have enough MAGBucks to redeem
At the top of your MAGBucks Program page in your MAGFAST account you'll see your total number of MAGBucks.
In this example you can see that I have 609 MAGBucks:
When you scroll down a bit on that page you'll see where to redeem your MAGBucks for Store Credit discount codes:
Depending on how many MAGBucks you have you might see some 'redeem' buttons are greyed out and unusable. This means you don't have enough MAGBucks to use those codes.
Since I have 609 MAGBucks, that means anything above 609 will be greyed out for me:
Every time you redeem a MAGBucks Store Credit it will deduct from your total MAGBucks at the top. So eventually, after you use them, you'll see more Store Credits become unavailable. This means that you were able to successfully use your MAGBucks and place your orders! 😊
Important: if you redeem your MAGBucks but then decide not to use that code immediately - no worries! The code will be stored safely under 'My rewards' in your MAGFAST account on your MAGBucks Program page. The code doesn't expire just like the MAGBucks don't expire.
